Amanda Blankenship

Hi! My name is Amanda Blankenship, and I joined the KMUSA office team in August of 2019. I serve as the Executive Administrator in Humboldt, TN. My husband, Jeremy, and I live on a small farm where we keep honeybees. I find that a honeybee's ability to work as one for the sake of the hive parallels our role as believers in the Body of Christ.

I was raised in ministry and served with a non-profit children's home after college until I moved from Florida to Tennessee in 2010. At that time, I started chasing the "American Dream" with big goals and aspirations. Looking back, I am ever so thankful for the life experience and skills that I gathered through the roles I held in those years, but if I'm honest, I always felt the tug to do more, not for myself, but for Christ. In 2019 my husband and I started praying that God would provide an opportunity to serve Him. We had no idea how or where, but we trusted that He knew. God was way ahead of us and burdened my heart in a very big way to help His people share the Gospel! One of our mottos at KM is "Live called" and I'm humbled that my role within our network allows me to enable Christians to live out their calling and find their place to serve as together we build His kingdom.

Behind the scenes, but not unseen

Serving in KM's U.S. office with our base team is truly exciting! Europe is made up of so many beautiful cultures and people groups. I find that I'm always learning fascinating things and new ways to share Christ's love with the lost.

My worldview is ever-growing as I connect with missionaries and believers serving on the least Christian continent. Much of what I do is administrative work, behind the scenes, helping missionaries go and do what God called them to. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to serve in missions!

Support our ministry

It is no secret that from the very beginning of the church Christians have taken an active role in being missionaries and sending missionaries. Yet not all are called to be missionaries. (We are all called to make disciples.)

Being a missionary is a calling, but have you ever considered that sending missionaries is also a calling? So what is your calling? Are you the missionary or a missionary sender?

All Kontaktmission staff live on support, meaning we believe that God will provide for his mission, through His church.

Please consider joining our sending team by partnering with us in prayer and partnering with us financially.

Prayer Needs

Pray. Really commit to praying for me, for my team, for our missionaries. There is power in our prayers and when we pray, God works in mighty ways!

Would you specifically pray for wisdom and discernment as we help believers prepare for life on the mission field? Would you also pray that God would send those seeking to take the Gospel to Europe to KM? Please let me know how I can pray for you as well!
