After Christ’s resurrection, Jesus had His pick of doing anything He desired…any position, any “job” if you will. And do you know what He chose to do? Out of everything in this world, Jesus chose to pray for us, His people (Heb. 7:24-25). …

Update on Ukraine

UPDATE ON UKRAINE As many of you know Ukraine is facing a very difficult time. Since February 24, 2022, when Russia invaded Ukraine, death and separation from loved ones have become a ubiquitous reality for most, if not all Ukrainians. Yet, dare I put myself in a different camp, I’m not sure if we theologically AND functionally know this to be true. Faith can be a …

Prayer Thought: Seek His Face Always

Prayer Thought: Seek His Face Alway I love praying Scripture. In fact, one of my favorite things to do is pray some of the Psalms that extol God’s character. These chapters and verses get my heart and mind ready for taking up my cross and following the Lord. I’ve actually been praying that more recently. I used to ask that the Lord come with me on my journey through the day, until I realized it’s not MY journey in the first place. So, I’ve been asking the Lord, through His Word and prayer that He take me wherever HE’S going, …
