Celebrating the Father’s Mission

Dear Friends of Kontaktmission and European missions,   Years ago around Christmastime it became clear to me, and every year I’m struck by it all over again. Jesus was sent as a missionary by the Father Himself. Christmas is the beginning of world mission, just as it’s the beginning of the hope that comes through “God with us.” John 20:21 records Jesus’ words, “Peace to you! Time Keeps on Slippin’

“If I fail to spend two hours in prayer each morning, the devil gets the victory through the day. They embody true meekness because they understand how

“Oh, men and women, pray through; pray through! Do not just begin to pray and pray a little while and throw up your hands and quit; but pray and pray and pray until God bends the heavens and comes down.” -R.A. Torrey “What causes us to think of prayer as the last option rather than the first? I can think of two reasons: feelings of independence and feelings of insignificance.” -Max Lucado Do you ever find yourself running from God? Maybe your running is on purpose because you’re angry at God or feel rejected in some way. It’s hard to
