Clay & Christie Elliott
Hello All! My name is Clay and I get to be the Director of Pastoral Ministries and Prayer for Kontaktmission USA. This means that I do Member Care (counseling and encouraging) for our existing missionaries and those who are in the process of being sent. Along with the ministry efforts I get to do with Kontaktmission, I have been married to my wife, Christie, since 2005 and we have 10 nieces and nephews. We enjoy watching movies, playing miniature golf, and real golf, being greatly involved in the Jackson Theatre Guild, and doing small group ministry at Northbrook Church. We live in Jackson, TN.
I graduated from Union University with a Biblical Studies Degree and have my Master's Degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Biblical Counseling. One of my biggest passions is to see how biblical truth found in Scripture practically applies to the lives of our people involved with KM.
I am also responsible for the Prayer Ministry at KMUSA, which includes 6 different prayer teams. We have many goals for these prayer teams, that include our public prayer team of close to 2,000 people, our missionaries, and our staff. The first of these goals is teaching and equipping people with HOW to pray. When we really begin to understand that the Lord simply desires us to come to Him with our praises, trials, and requests, we better understand how we are able to " approach the throneroom of grace with confidence (Heb. 4:16)." And, knowing this, we are also reminded that the One who created and holds all things in His hands long to give good gifts to His people (Matt. 7:11).

Mentally and Emotionally healthy missionaries make for healthy missions work!
I am so passionate about seeing the maturity and sanctification process for all of our missionaries, staff,
and supporters. The two disciplines I do, member care and prayer, are strengthened so much by others' prayer and encouragement.
We need our missionaries and staff to be as physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually healthy as possible. So, when COVID is not putting things on hold, I travel to Europe to be with our missionaries personally face-to-face. All of these things are able to happen when others are compelled to pray deliberately and faithfully; being on the frontlines of ministry with us.

Support our ministry
It is no secret that from the very beginning of the church Christians have taken an active role in being missionaries and sending missionaries. Yet not all are called to be missionaries. (We are all called to make disciples)
Being a missionary is a calling, but have you ever considered that sending missionaries is also a calling? So what is your calling? Are you the missionary or a missionary sender?
Before, it was simple to work and cover the needs of ministry and family. But as responsibility and ministry increase, there is less and less time left for work. Now, as a family, we need help in evangelization, so we invite you to invest part of your talent in ministry. in Ukraine! And may God bless you and your ministry in your place!
Please consider joining our sending team by partnering with us in prayer and partnering with us financially.
Prayer Needs
- That the Lord would give me wisdom and the ability to listen well when counseling missionaries.
- That our prayer ministry would be a source of great encouragement and lead our supporters to be wholly focused on prayer.
- Pray that I would faithfully depend on the Lord for my strength as I face many difficulties with my health.
