Daniel and Rebekah Hodges
We are the Hodges family! Daniel and Rebekah met at Columbia International University where they both took classes in Bible, ministry, and missions.
After graduation, they were married and were blessed with 3 wonderful kids in the first few years of marriage. During that time, Daniel was working on his continued education, culminating with doctoral work at Dallas Theological Seminary.
There, he learned of the need for evangelical Bible professors in Europe, especially in Germany. We began taking steps to follow God's call and meet that need! We have a passion for equipping church leaders to teach and disciple their congregations, and a heart for making disciples in our community through one-on-one relationships and small groups.

German churches need the Gospel
Despite its religious history, less than 2% of people in Germany believe that Jesus is God's son, who died for our sins and rose again from the dead. Many believe they have no need for the Gospel and laugh at the idea of God. We live in western Germany, which sees slightly higher church attendance than churches in the east.
Unfortunately, many of those churches do not teach the truth of the Bible. In general, Germans are concerned with living in harmony with other people and caring for their spaces and their world. Our neighbors and friends are friendly and hospitable but need a significant amount of time in relationships to build deep friendships and trust.
It takes a lot of time to speak about spiritual things or personal beliefs. Because of this dynamic, there is a great need for training evangelical church leaders who can disciple and mentor church members to speak into friendships where trust and respect have already been achieved.

Support our ministry
It is no secret that from the very beginning of the church Christians have taken an active role in being missionaries and sending missionaries. Yet not all are called to be missionaries. (We are all called to make disciples)
Being a missionary is a calling, but have you ever considered that sending missionaries is also a calling? So what is your calling? Are you the missionary or a missionary sender?
Before, it was simple to work and cover the needs of ministry and family. But as responsibility and ministry increase, there is less and less time left for work. Now, as a family, we need help in evangelization, so we invite you to invest part of your talent in ministry. in Ukraine! And may God bless you and your ministry in your place!
Please consider joining our sending team by partnering with us in prayer and partnering with us financially.
Please pray...
- that the Holy Spirit would prepare hearts to receive the Gospel.
- that German believers would be bold to share their faith with friends.
- that God would use us to equip German believers through formal education and personal relationships.
- that we would be bold to share our faith in the friendships we are building.
- that we would love and support each other well in our marriage and our family.
