Being a person of prayer takes more than merely praying. It requires deeply meditating on God’s Word, His character, His purpose in different and oftentimes difficult situations. Knowing this, and being someone who desires to make many of these things a priority, I have found a beautiful truth about Jesus that is applicable here. After Christ’s resurrection, Jesus had His pick of doing anything He desired…any position, any “job” if you will. And do you know what He chose to do?
Out of everything in this world, Jesus chose to pray for us, His people (Heb. 7:24-25). Catch that!
The One who conquered death itself lives to intercede for you and me! Do you perhaps think that He believes prayer to be the most vital ministry opportunity of all? We have the ability to live and work side by side, step in step with the Lord Jesus in this. That to me is truly an amazing thing. We get to pray boldly with Jesus! These kinds of things are largely what I get to think through and do for the Prayer Ministry of Kontaktmission USA.
We have also begun Zoom Prayer Meetings with missionaries from different countries. Right now, we are doing 30-minute prayer meetings with missionaries in Slovakia, Germany, Norway, and hopefully, Albania coming soon. The prayer meetings are set up so we pray for the specific country regarding their evangelistic needs, the city, the ministry where these missionaries are located, and personally for the missionaries and their family. We’re keeping each of these meetings to between 30-40 minutes. So, if you are interested in joining one of these groups or have a heart to pray for another location with our missionaries in it, please reach out. If you are already supporting a KM missionary and are interested in being on the frontlines of ministry through prayer as well, please contact me or the missionary you support. We would love to talk to you further about this.

Kontaktmission is a networked mission movement empowering Christians worldwide to live out their God-given callings, and sending them out for the building up of His church.
We've discovered that our "international idea" of connecting people and ministries opens doors for the gospel helps avoid common mistakes, and makes missions much more effective.
