Luke & Tiffanie Swain
We are Luke and Tiffanie Swain and we have two young daughters, Ava and Emma. We are from North Carolina, but our new home has been in Ireland since February 2017. We serve at a church on the west coast of Ireland in a village called Moycullen, right outside the bigger city of Galway.
The church was established in 2015. Luke is one of the lead pastors and also leads the youth group and children's ministry. Tiffanie helps lead worship and is involved in helping with the youth group and teaching the kids.
We are very involved in our community and neighborhood and consider our outreach there to be a big part of our ministry. Luke is the head coach for the local boys' basketball team. We also help lead and organize church outreach events. Our newest area of focus is beginning a new church in another village near us.

Ireland - The least-reached English-speaking country
Would you believe that Ireland is less than 1% evangelical Christian? It's the hard reality of Ireland. In fact, Ireland is the least Christian English speaking country in the world. Although many Irish people are Catholic, it is solely by name. For most of them, their faith has no real impact on the lives that they live.
Among the younger generations of Irish people especially, faith of the past is just that, the past. Faith has been replaced with apathy and indifference. It's not hard to walk around the streets of Ireland and see well off people who are knowingly or unknowingly empty, longing for something that matters, something that is real, something lasting. The only solution to that is Jesus Christ.

Support our ministry
It is no secret that from the very beginning of the church Christians have taken an active role in being missionaries and sending missionaries. Yet not all are called to be missionaries. (We are all called to make disciples)
Being a missionary is a calling, but have you ever considered that sending missionaries is also a calling? So what is your calling? Are you the missionary or a missionary sender?
All Kontaktmission staff live on support, meaning we believe that God will provide for his mission, through his church.
Please consider joining our sending team by partnering with us in prayer and partnering with us financially.
Prayer Needs
- That we would make new relationships with those around us.
- That those in our church would be faithful and grow in their faith.
- Planting a second church in the next year or so.
