Location: Prague, Czech Republic; 21st Century - Christ the Savior Church – Pastor Oleg Grisyk
Who will we serve: This trip aims to reach out to the Russian-speaking population in the Czech Republic. Specifically, we will be working with teenagers and their families, most of whom are Ukrainian refugees.
Methods for sharing the Gospel: Like many Eastern Europeans, Ukrainians are very interested in their children learning English for their success in the future. The teens are also interested in sports and meeting new people. This connection point allows Americans who love Jesus a unique opportunity to build relationships, share the Gospel, and take part in discipling these young people and their parents.
Who should go on this trip: First and foremost, those God has called should respond with a joyous YES! to this trip. Tripsters should be 18 years or older. This trip is recommended for English-speaking American believers in Christ who have a heart for reaching young people and the stamina to keep up with their active lifestyle. Those interested in sports evangelism and English evangelism will find this trip to be especially valuable. Even if you have never taught English as a second language, the materials provided will guide you to be an effective teacher. Additionally, those interested in seeing if God is calling them into long-term missions will find this trip a great way to experience real ministry life.
